I started running because my older brother ran in high school and I thought I could do it.
If I could no longer run, I would probably swim more and try not to get out of shape. |
My favorite run is hands down, the Perryville path and Rock Cut. The hills and the scenery are great. I like to run with anyone at any pace and my GPS.
My favorite thing to do after a hard workout is drink a chocolate |
protein shake.
When I'm not running I like to swim and play with our sons. |

The local runner I most admire is Brian Miller. He's been running at a high level for a very long time. |
To push myself on a run, I think about my racing goals and ask myself if I will get there by being a slacker. The answer is no most of the time. |
My greatest running accomplishment is qualifying for the Boston Marathon in May of this year. |
My next goal is to run under 3:00 for the marathon, maybe even in Boston. |
My advice to other runners is to enjoy it. We put in too much time and effort not to. |
