The oldest ongoing race in the area and a long time tradition for many area runners and families,
returns for the 50th running in Atwood Park on Thanksgiving morning
Things to know about Turkey Trot Race Day
Location for 2023
Atwood Park 7074 Ryberg Road on Thanksgiving morning.
Race is Chipped Time wear those bibs on the front
of your most outer layer of clothing!
Must be present to win, door prizes, turkeys, pies and more!
Reminder this is a Trail Run, for those who have run the race before or run in Atwood Park you will find that the trails are not perfectly groomed. You will still expect to see and find all of the regular trail obstacles including but not limited to tree roots, downed trees, walnuts, rocks, leafs slippery slopes and more, pretty much everything you could ask for when going for a trail run with the exception of running through a creek.
Race starts at 9:00 a.m.
This is for ALL runners & walkers .
Results will be posted on line later on Thanksgiving Day

This long time running pre-dinner ritual of working up an appetite, meeting up with family and friends with a little run through the woods and over the hills is a guess your time trail race. No time pieces or GPS devices of any kind permitted least you be labeled a turkey at best and something less at worse.
The distance this year is again somewhere near 5k.
RRR is collecting donations at the race for a number of worthy causes
we encourage all participants choose one and add a little extra to help our community .
